OGUK’s Offshore Decommissioning Conference took place on 24th & 25th November online with an innovative virtual conference that delivered a fully immersive, digital and interactive experience. With eleven interactive sessions delivered over 2 days, it was a chance to hear from industry leaders, topic specialists and some of the sector’s most inspirational and thought-provoking speakers.  The NDC had a virtual exhibition stand for the 2 days.  OGTC/Roger Esson had a Tech Zone.

On 24th November topics included Decommissioning in a Changed World, Operators and the Supply Chain – Striking the Balance, Getting it Right – Leave In-Situ or Remove?, The Regulatory Journey – Where are we Heading?, and Decommissioning … Where to Now?.  On 25th November topics included Technology Zone, Well Decommissioning, Decommissioning Better and Greener – The Skills and Jobs Opportunities, Decommissioning in Practice – Delivering Value, Decommissioning and the Sustainability Agenda, and Decommissioning – Beyond the Current Horizon.

The NDC’s virtual exhibition stand showcased our new simulator, studentships and the Centre for Energy transition.
