The University of Aberdeen is delighted to invite Offshore Europe attendees for a tour of the National Decommissioning Centre (NDC) on the evening of Wednesday 4th September.
The NDC is a research centre established through a partnership between the University of Aberdeen and the Oil & Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) with the support of the Scottish and UK governments. The purpose of the NDC is to bring researchers and industry experts together to tackle the engineering, environmental, economic and legal challenges facing industry and government across the decommissioning life cycle, from mature basin management through to late life and decommissioning.
Come along to hear about the various decommissioning projects currently being undertaken at the NDC and see the state-of-the-art facilities we offer companies for the design and development of decommissioning technology.
The NDC is based in Newburgh, just a 20-minute drive from the P&J Live venue and we will provide a coach to transfer attendees to and from the NDC.
