Offshore Decommissioning Conference – NDC PhD Student Presenting “Decommissioning in a Net Zero World”

Date/Time

25/11/2019 - 27/11/2019

Event Information

The key objective of the annual conference is to bring a wide spectrum of oil and gas companies into one room; small supply chain companies, contractors and many of the large operators. Previous conferences have shown attendees to be actively involved and willing to contribute and discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with offshore oil and gas decommissioning in an open and engaging atmosphere.

The National Decommissioning Centre will be actively participating in a number of sessions throughout the two days. On 26th at 2.00 pm, the NDC will have a stand in the Technology Zone which is chaired by Roger Esson, Oil and Gas Technology Centre. On 27th Professor Richard Neilson, NDC Director will be a panel member at the Conference breakfast at 09.10 am.  At 11.00 am in the session Decommissioning – The Future?,  Abigail Davies, one of our PhD students is giving a talk on “Decommissioning in a Net Zero Carbon World”.
