We look forward to working together on areas of mutual interest to both the nuclear and oil & gas sectors, including decarbonisation of decommissioning activities, economic impacts, cost benchmarking and remote operations in hazardous environments.

Towards a digital model of the UKCS using Smart City concepts

A new paper presenting work from the Data for Net Zero (D4NZ) project on the creation of a novel 3D digital model of the UK Continental Shelf has been published. Developed at the NDC the 3D model integrates diverse datasets into immersive visualisations that support informed decision making, stakeholder engagement and policy development.
