The NDC will be open to the public on Saturday, 19 September, as part of the Doors Open Days festival.

This is an opportunity to see inside our North and South buildings, meet our team and find out about the research and development taking place in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire.

Highlights include:
🔹Introductory presentation offering an overview of the NDC and its work
🔹 Guided tours and demonstrations of the unique 300-degree immersive marine simulator with opportunities for visitors to operate the control stations
🔹Access to view specialist facilities including the indoor immersion tank, underwater laser cutting technology developed with Claxton, hydrostatic pressure chamber and environmental testing chambers

Presentation and tour times: 10.30am – 12pm, 12.45pm – 2.15pm and 2.30pm – 4pm

Children’s activities will be available throughout the day.
