A global gathering of decommissioning professionals, Decom Week 2021 is a fully-virtual week-long event hosted by DECOM North Sea, bringing industry together.

Arturo Regalado delivered his Next Generation session presentation on ‘effects of oil price uncertainty and financial security on the decision to decommission’ at 15:40 on 17th May 2021.

Prof. Richard Neilson led an interactive panel session run by the NDC titled ‘The Regulatory Aspects of the Energy Transition and the Re-use, and Re-purposing of Offshore Infrastructure’ at 13:30 on 18th May 2021.

Decom Week 2021 is focussing on all aspects of energy decommissioning – oil & gas, renewables, circular economy, marine, salvage, and nuclear – and provide tangible insight into the sector, covering tech talks, equipment demonstrations, topical discussions, and location tours. Decom Week is also hosting the largest ever update on decommissioning projects.
